The Design: "In Purple Royalness"
This stunning design is created on a base of beautiful dark purple sequin embroidered suede velveteen. The paisley floral embroidery is stitched in shades or gold, tan, turquoise and purple. On its own this fabric is covered in thousands of turquoise sequins-sparkling from every angle. Random portions of the gold embroidery are highlighted with strategically placed 16ss crystal golden shadow Swarovski crystals.
The asymmetrical detailing at the base of the bodice and the right sleeve start on a black poplin overlay. The stripping is then created with a purple twill edged in turquoise sparkling holographic lambskin. Down center of the twill stripes is a line of 8mm kaleidoscope sequins-they reflect in colors of turquoise, purple, black and silver. Additional glistening stripes of lime ICE lambskin and purple ICE lambskin add amazing interest to this unique piece.
The striped portion of the jacket is separated from the upper bodice with an appliqué of silver sequined georgette edged in black ultrasuede. That same sparkling silver fabric, glistens on the collar and cuffs. A double shot turquoise/black silk dupioni brings an intense pop of color to the colors and cuffs, especially since they are outlined with blue zircon 16ss Swarovski crystals. The two colors of the color/cuffs are separated by an appliqué of black ultrasuede over purple ICE lambskin. Even more sparkle is added on top of the black ultrasuede on the collar, cuffs and bodice with jet 16ss Swarovski crystals.
And just when you thought this jacket couldn’t sparkle anymore…..oh, it can!
On the suede velveteen portion of the design twenty-one randomly placed 5-petaled flowers have been created from large sew-on 1x2” turquoise pear stones radiating around a crystal volcano 30ss Swarovski crystal. The flowers stem is a row of 8mm kaleidoscope sequins over lime ICE lambskin. Each flower has two sparkling leaves-one from silver sequined georgette outlined in turquoise sparkling holographic lambskin and one from purple ICE lambskin with a 1x0.5” sew-on jet naiveté stones.
This design will be beyond stunning-literally glistening from every angle!!! Besides the thousands of sequins sew in to the embroidered motif of the base fabric…105 large sew-on pears, 21 sew-on naivetés, 895 16ss Swarovski’s, 21 30ss Swarovski’s and 10,000 kaleidoscope sequins will be meticulously hand placed, equaling approximately an additional 11,050 points of light reflection!! THIS DESIGN IS VALUED AT $1195.00
